A+ Grade Fallow Spiker ‘Dama Dama’ (yearling) Skull with Mandibles. Incisors (milk teeth) naturally lost for growth of adult teeth. This buck was in velvet that had been slightly stripped which is why the antlers have no colour - but I thought he looked neat without applying stain.
A+ Grade specimens are considered museum-quality and are in excellent anatomical condition. Dentition is complete, nasal turbinates are intact, and bone quality is exceptional. Specimens are anatomically complete with no damage present.
Any minor imperfections, if present, are the result of natural processes during the animal’s life, such as naturally lost or slightly chipped teeth where evidence of bone healing is visible, or healed injuries sustained prior to death.
All A+ Grade specimens have been professionally macerated, fully degreased, whitened, and carefully articulated using high-quality adhesives to ensure structural integrity and long-term preservation.
